Book Recommendation: Mother of Learning

Hey all,

Just wanted to make a quick recommendation. As I’ve mentioned previously, a web serial called Mother of Learning was one of my main inspirations for Sufficiently Advanced Magic and Arcane Ascension a whole. Up to this point, Mother of Learning has only been available on the web – but now, for the first time, it’s being released in book and audio book formats. Preorders are up for Kindle, which can be found here.

Mother of Learning: ARC 1 by [Domagoj Kurmaic]

Mother of Learning is the story of Zorian, a young mage who finds himself stuck within a time loop. It’s a magical academy story, much like Arcane Ascension, and I found Zorian to be a compelling and entertaining protagonist.

I hope anyone who checks the story out enjoys it as much as I did!

  1. Probably not going to reread it for a while, but pre-ordered as a bit of very well-deserved backpayment for an long and enjoyable story.

Do you know how many books he’s splitting the whole story into?

  2. Hello Andrew, I always appreciate your recommendations, so here is one for you. As a fan of anime and progression fantasy, I haven’t read many novels that scratch the itch all of your work does. That was until I read Iron Prince by Bryce O’Connor and Luke Chmlenko. That one novel has vaulted over Will Wight and Kel Kade’s projects which have always been a close second to your own in my humble opinion. Getting a glimpse of what you would enjoy by reading your work, I highly recommend you give Iron Prince a read. As always, thank you for your hard work and recommendations.
