Defying Destiny Audio, Diamantine, and Stabby Awards

Just a quick few updates.

The audio book for Defying Destiny is taking longer than I’d hoped. Currently, there is still no specific release date, but it’s looking like it may be a March or April launch.

My revisions to Diamantine are almost done. While I’m sorely tempted to just toss the book on Kindle before the end of the year, I think it’s worth taking a few more weeks to polish the book further. I expect to launch the book before the end of January.

I’d also like to mention for any Reddit users that the voting for the yearly Stabby Awards has started! There are some amazing books (and authors, and sites, etc.) in the running this year. If you’re a Redditor and want to check it out, the voting instructions can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Fantasy/comments/egy76w/2019_stabby_voting_thread/?sort=top

  1. Take your time, a one month wait is fine! I’m actually amazed and delighted that self-publishing authors can avoid a year-long production cycle that regular publishers seem to love so much.

But you still should still create a Patreon Perk with early access.

    1. I’m thinking about it. I might look into hiring an assistant in a year or two that can handle things like Patreon, web design, and some of my social media stuff. We’ll see.

      1. Please let us know as soon as that happens. I would love to get some merch and hopefully that would mean one step closer to getting hardcovered book, for limited signed copies!!!!

  2. I’m snowed in and would love the book today, but that’s just me. I’m really excited for the book. Thanks for all the great books.
