I’m proud finally to announce the upcoming publication of my first book, Forging Divinity.
A quick synopsis:
Some say that in the city of Orlyn, godhood is on sale to the highest bidder. To the followers of Edon, the leader of the local pantheon, divinity is a potential reward for many years of fateful service. Thousands flock to the city each year, hoping for a chance at immortality.
Lydia “Scryer” Hastings is a paladin in the service of Sytira, the goddess of knowledge. After infiltrating the city to validate the claims of the local faith, she discovers an unusual prisoner – Taelien, a swordsman who bears a striking resemblance to the long-missing leader of the pantheon she worships.
While Lydia investigates Taelien’s identity, she meets Jonan Kestrian – a talented illusionist in the service of a rival organization. Jonan claims that the local “gods” are sorcerers, sacrificing people for power. Lydia will need both Taelien and Jonan’s help to find the truth.
Here’s a sneak peak at the cover art, which was made by Daniel Kamarudin.
Thanks for all the hard work on the awesome cover, Daniel.
The book will be available in print and e-book formats sometime in January. I’ll be posting more updates and information on soon.
